I wish to thank the teachers, mentors and friends who
have taught and continue to teach me about the fine art
of rug hooking: Meredith LeBeau, Nancy Blood, the
wonderfully talented group of teachers at Northern
McGown Teachers’ Workshop, and especially my students
who are a constant source of ideas and inspiration.
A special thanks to my sons, Bob and Jeff, and my
daughter Cathy, and their spouses and families who have
created this website for me, and to my dear friend Lyn
Lovell who started me in this artistic venture thirty
years ago. We still meet for 2 weeks each year to hook
together! And, of course, loving thanks to my husband,
Bob, who is a constant source of encouragement – except
when dinner smells like boiled wool and vinegar!
Karin (Natacha) Gorboff, my daughter-in-law’s sister,
was the ‘mastermind’ and expert in the creation of this
site, her website design business:
www.w-o-w.biz and Bill Bishop of Impact
Xposures,
www.ixpoz.com photographer for Rug Hooking Magazine,
has done a superb job photographing my rugs.
